Frozen Tears
Dripping down behind my eyes,
Frozen tears that seek to hide,
From the past where they were born,
From the place my heart was torn.
Deep inside my sleeping heart,
Lies a pond where love remains.
To this pond seep all those tears
To melt themselves and make me feel.
The heat of joy shines into me
And casts a light into my night.
The welling tears evaporate
And rise above as tears no more.
Let light still shine right down into me
And dry me up of all my fears.
May joy reside inside my heart
To melt forever those frozen tears.
Frozen tears that seek to hide,
From the past where they were born,
From the place my heart was torn.
Deep inside my sleeping heart,
Lies a pond where love remains.
To this pond seep all those tears
To melt themselves and make me feel.
The heat of joy shines into me
And casts a light into my night.
The welling tears evaporate
And rise above as tears no more.
Let light still shine right down into me
And dry me up of all my fears.
May joy reside inside my heart
To melt forever those frozen tears.
