Noise is the toy that the dim
Amuse themselves with.
It is the distraction that keeps them
From their own emptiness.

Noise is the weapon that the angry
Use to attack the innocent bystanders
who sit frozen in apathy
on their sunken couches.

Noise,
Noise is the raging torrent
That gushes with vengeance
on the purity of the world.

Noise,
Noise cannot be ignored
Though it can be renounced.
There are no doors that can be closed
to keep it from entering
but there are doors bolted strongly enough
to keep it from escaping.
